It simply happens: November, December...
... and suddenly we add a new calendar. No sooner did we harvest the last fall vegetables than it was time to sow again.
Snow flakes and ice
become rain drops and puddles
Nourished seeds beneath the soil
bravely push forth their little heads
The sun rises and the sun sets
and days grow longer
Re-potting, for roots grow stronger.
Fragrance and color consumed
while birds proclaim happiness in song_
Miracles never cease
as January transforms into April.
