Our new seed potatoes arrived! Now I must collect and clean the pots in which I plan to grow them. In the past we have always had our potatoes in the ground, but this process sounds like a great alternative, and I am excited about the journey. We'll keep you posted.
Oh yes, some of the Reds and Yukon Golds that have been cellared from this past summer's garden are sprouting, so we'll put a few of them in pots too just to see how it grows.
And guess what else we got in the mail. RainGardener from Gardening By Trial and Error, sent me seeds for this beautiful peony poppy. This is her photo that she posted here. I have grown several varieties of poppies, but not like this frilled beauty. Thank you for this lovely gift!
